Meet Our Management Team

Russell Reardon

Director & General Manager

Russell and Deborah have been the proud owners of Kitchens R Us since December 2006. Before purchasing Kitchens R Us, Russell was the Managing Director of Century Yuasa. Russell is down to earth, and you will always find his door open. It isn’t uncommon for Russell to spend an hour or two discussing the latest All Blacks selection or Super 15 news!

With over 40 years of experience in sales Management roles, Russell is keenly aware of the importance of customer satisfaction. Over the last 17 years, he has established many meaningful relationships within the local construction industry. Russell is also the Owner and Director at Dexion Supply Centre, Mt Maunganui (BOP Racking). Along with his oldest son, Scott, he has built a successful company providing quality shopfitting and pallet racking throughout New Zealand.

In his spare time, Russell is both a volunteer lifeguard and the President of the Mount Maunganui Lifeguard Service. He is a keen sponsor of The Bay Of Plenty Steamers and can be found on the sidelines of most rugby events in the Bay. Russell also takes great pride in being part of the team at Decision Reach Out Toromai Trust. Here, the trust funds for several fully paid scholarships for local Year 12 students to travel to the Hillary Outdoor Pursuit Centre in Tongariro, where they will spend five days doing a variety of leadership and teamwork activities with students from surrounding schools.

Luaan Crouse

Operations Manager

Responsible for production and installations, Luaan is a valuable member of the Kitchens R Us team. As Operations Manager of Kitchens R Us, Luaan is responsible for command and control of the factory and the installation teams.

With over twenty years in the joinery and timber industries, he is the go-to person at Kitchens R Us for any technical work that needs doing. His calm manner and attention to detail keep everything on schedule. When he doesn’t have a project at home, Luaan enjoys rugby and getting out on his KTM 300 EXC Dirt Bike in his spare time.

Haydn Reardon

Sales Manager

Haydn is responsible for business development and sales. With a degree in Commerce from Victoria University, Haydn has injected his enthusiasm and ideas into working on streamlining Kitchens R Us systems and processes.

Not afraid to dream big, Haydn is instrumental in helping both the company and his team achieve their goals. In his spare time, Haydn enjoys hiking with his partner and playing rugby for Tauranga Sports.

Deborah Reardon

Director & Kitchen Designer

With a keen interest in kitchen design, Deborah has Owned Kitchens R Us with Russell since 2006.

Prior to her kitchen design training, Deborah was a radiographer, having trained at Waikato Hospital in the 1980s. For many years, Deborah also had a career as an international flight attendant for Air New Zealand.

Deborah loves being part of the Kitchens R Us team and is continually inspired by the creativity of her colleagues. Outside of working hours, she is a volunteer swimming coach at the local Omanu Swimming Club and, over the summer months, a volunteer lifeguard helping patrol the local beaches of Mt Maunganui.

Todd Reardon

Apprentice

Todd is currently completing his cabinetmaking apprenticeship, learning the various roles within the production and installation sides of the business.

Todd is often seen out driving a delivery truck, or on-site assisting our installation teams. He is also a volunteer lifeguard with the Mount Maunganui Lifeguard Service during the summer months.

Todd is a sports mentor and a member of the lifeguard sports committee. In his free time, he enjoys surfing or working out at the gym.
