Curved Craftmanship for a Country Home

A number of carefully considered details make this kitchen truly special. The hob is positioned against a full-length orchard-facing window, creating a connection between the interior and the surrounding landscape. Framed with overhead feature panelling and subtle LED under-cabinet lighting, it becomes an inviting space to cook, entertain, and enjoy a quiet glass of wine while preparing the evening meal.

The centrepiece of the space is the beautifully executed curved kitchen island. This standout example of high-end joinery craftsmanship is finished in Dezignatek Prague panelling in the Ranfurly Oak colourway. The island introduces warmth, texture, and architectural detail to the room. Complementary Melteca cabinetry in Baikal ensures a cohesive palette alongside the Pacific Stone benchtop in Superwhite Quartz.

The 20 mm stone benchtop features a refined pencil-arris edge detail, providing a crisp, contemporary finish. At the sink, a subtle ledge has been integrated to house the Elysian pull-out kitchen mixer, while the benchtop itself has been carefully rebated into the window frame to achieve a seamless architectural connection.

Completing the design, Archant Duo handles in brushed nickel enhance the soft curves of the island while maintaining a clean, modern aesthetic.

The home’s laundry and mudroom continue the visual language of the kitchen joinery, with a slightly more restrained palette but the same commitment to thoughtful design, premium materials, and refined detailing.
