Material Palette

The joinery specification balances durability with warmth. Panel finishes include Bestwood Arctic White by NZ Panels Group, paired with Melteca Melamine Aged Ash by Laminex, creating a clean contrast throughout the space. The barback and servery fronts are elevated with Dezignatek Prague panelling, adding depth and architectural rhythm at the bar.

Benchtops

Stone benchtops were supplied by Pacific Stone in Blanco White with pencil arris edge detail. The crisp white stone works cohesively with the cabinetry palette while providing the durability essential for a busy buffet setting.

The commercial kitchen was fitted with stainless steel benches, delivering the robust performance required in a busy hospitality environment.

Lighting & Feature Elements

The bar area is the hero of this build. A floating pelmet integrates glassware storage and lighting that shows off the curved cabinetry and stone benchtops. LED strip lighting placed in the back wall cabinetry and underneath the stone benchtop adds ambience and interest to the Prague panelling.

The Curve Challenge

One of the most rewarding aspects of this build was the curved joinery. Achieving seamless curves required extensive planning and coordination, sparking many productive discussions on the factory floor. Teamwork was the defining theme of this project. A mix of precision manufacturing, careful installation, and collective problem-solving brought this vision to life.

We have thoroughly enjoyed contributing to this iconic build for a local staple. A big thanks to our Design team, Amber and Aly, as well as our CAD Detailer Annica and the Production team headed by Marcus, who put in weeks of work to get this project delivered. And of course, our installers who worked tirelessly on site to piece it all together.
