Walking into the revitalised apartment, you wouldn’t realise that the property had been recently gutted in order to start again. A stunningly finished renovation with neutral palette, wooden features, and furnishing textures is found throughout.

The Bestwood Arctic White cabinetry creates the foundation for the Bestwood Ranfurly Oak
overhead storage to shine. While Heather was initially hesitant to have open storage, daughter Hayley encouraged her to embrace the idea. With plenty of storage throughout the kitchen, including a corner mondo unit, the open cupboards allowed for decorative pieces to bring character into the space.

Heirloom pieces are displayed, including a pair of traditionally carved wooden elephants that have
been in the family for 45 years. As proud South Africans, the elephants are reminders of their
heritage.

The Blanco White stone benchtop ties in the Artic White cabinetry and vertical stacked splashback
tiles. The under cabinet led and overhead pendant lighting are fast favourites for Heather. The colour
of the floating floor brings cohesion to the overhead cupboards, barstools, and other wooden furniture pieces throughout the home.

The storage to the right of the fridge serves to both store wine and provide ample space to open the
fridge door. The double-wide drawers provide easy access to utensils while cooking, no trips to the opposite side of the kitchen. Little elements like this elevate a beautifully designed kitchen to one that truly works how you need it.

With the renovation now complete, Heather and Dick have now moved in and are enjoying the new space. We hope they share many family meals and create lasting memories here.
