When Nicola began building her new home in Tauranga’s sunny Bayfair suburb, she already had a clear vision for her dream kitchen. Working alongside designer Cheryl, that vision came to life in a way that feels both vibrant and beautifully crafted.
The hero of the space is the Bayleaf Melteca cabinetry, supplied by Laminex, which sets the perfect fresh, leafy tone. To complement this, a 20mm polished Blanco White stone benchtop with pencil arris edge detail creates a crisp, timeless contrast. The stone even continues inside the pantry, where a dedicated tea and coffee station makes mornings a little more special.
Craftsmanship shines through in every detail, from soft-close doors and drawers to the perfectly fitted fingertile look splashback. A true statement piece, the Valore butler sink takes pride of place, paired with Brushed Brass gooseneck tap. The Archant Duo brushed brass handles that add warmth and a touch of modern luxe.
With sunlight pouring into the open-plan space that connects the living and dining areas, the kitchen feels bright and inviting. And as a thoughtful finishing touch, Nicola chose a front door in the same green hue, tying the heart of the home together with instant character and cheer.
This kitchen is proof that when vision, design, and craftsmanship come together, the result is not just functional, it’s a joyful space to live in.
